My first journal entry on Mark 4:35-41 was June 17.  I used this text in a sermon I preached in Longdale OK on July 3.  But, since then, I’ve been unable to put those verses aside. I’ve amassed pages and pages of notes as I keep digging deeper and deeper, knowing that when people are going through deep challenges the last thing they need is platitudes.  So, I’ve been seeking diligently for an an answer (not THE answer, because I don’t have THAT one) for someone who is going through a struggle.  Finally, this week, I have a conclusion to the message–I think.  I will continue to meditate on these verses, knowing that God has given me this message for a time and place.  In the meantime, I’ll look at this message as one given by God especially, or even only, for me.
