Not A Wasted Experience

I continue to share my thoughts and experiences following my heart attack a few weeks ago. This morning my prayer was, “Lord, I know it was not Your will that I have a heart attack. It’s Your will that I walk in health. I also know that You not only can heal me, but that You will, not because I deserve it, or can earn it, but because Your word promises, that out of Your grace, by His stripes I am healed. I also know, Lord, that You never waste an eperience; You never waste a pain. And that You will use this to Your glory. And, even if I never get any better than I am today…I’m going to worship You, honor You, and testify to Your goodness.”
I’m having no bad days, but some days are better than others. I tire very easily. But as I continue with my cardio therapy, I expect that my stamina will improve, and I’m looking forward to continue to work to further the Kingdom of God here in NW Arkansas, Peru and wherever else He might have me serve.
