January 2, 2013, during my prayer time I prayed for Marsha, as I do every day. For some time now, my prayers for her included healing. Over the years I have heard an innumerable number of messages on prayer and healing. Most of them include instructions on how to pray–and there are so many different teachings on that. As I prayed for Marsha on the 2nd, my whole prayer emphasis shifted. I don’t remember the specific words, but it was something like, “Lord, the only thing I really know is I want to see Marsha healed, and I ask you to do that.”

I don’t believe God is nearly as interested in formulas for prayer as he is the person who is praying, or the person for whom you are praying. So I’m not going to worry too much about technique, but fully expect Marsha’s full healing. Thank you, Jesus!
