A friend from over fifteen years ago posted the following on FaceBook, and I have “borrowed it” with his permission. It articulates one of the only three issues intend to comment on in social media, the other two being Israel and biblical marriage. I hope you’ll pass this mkessage on to your friends and encourage them to vote. Thanks.

I often wonder does voting really matter? Won’t God’s purposes prevail regardless. Like if I vote for the worst candidate (Barabbus) isn’t that in God’s design anyway? If I vote for Saul isn’t that part of God’s plan anyway? So does it matter to God who I vote for? I mean if I vote for the guy who is supposedly communist and he’s gonna impose a UN tax upon American citizens does that really matter? Won’t the guy win who God wants to win to fulfill His prophetic design? Or if I vote for the rich business man who is gonna kill all the old people and pad the pockets of the rich does it matter to God? Isn’t God bigger than a supposed communist or money grubbing aristocrat both running for president?

So does it matter? Black or white? Help the rich or handouts to poor? Big government support or people inspired enterprise? Won’t the guy win who God wants to win with no real consequence to me other than will I get free health care and handouts or will I get low gas prices and better business opportunity?

And the answer is??????

In the scheme of God’s prophetic design no it does not matter. God can and will accomplish his purpose through a wicked king, a good king, a harlot or whore, a donkey, a rock, a stick, an adulterer, a Herod who kills babies, or a pharaoh who kills His people! So in God’s prophetic scheme God is moving us to the end!

HOWEVER, your vote may not effect God’s prophetic design but your vote DOES and will effect you in your own personal life which can cause you to be on the side that votes against God’s prophetic design!

And does this MATTER? A resounding YES! To those who voted against Noah died in a flood! To those who sided with Pharaoh lost their firstborn! To those who voted against Moses got leprosy. To those who sided with Korah were swallowed by the earth. To those who voted with the majority wandered 40 years! To those who voted Barabbas had to pad a lie for centuries for their wrong vote. To those who voted for world peace get the Antichrist.

So DON’T take your vote lightly. It may make no difference at all in the plan of God’s prophetic design who gets in the office in November. But to you personally, it can have profound effects on your own life way beyond healthcare or gas prices! So democrat or republic gets in, congratulations you are president and God’s plan is still unfolding. Democrat or Republican? How can WE as Christians vote for any candidate who is a proponent of murdering the unborn or sanctioning unbiblical unions? How can we vote that way as a Christian? To say “I’m voting for my candidate because really the best person will win who God wants to win!” This is a farce! To vote for people who adhere to murdering the unborn, no matter which party you are, how can that be a right vote? I don’t care who you vote for. It’s America! But please don’t be lulled asleep that your vote is some generalized preference of political bias! Your vote may not effect God’s prophetic design but your vote will place you on a side that can be for or against certain mandates of God! And my vote may or may not hurt my chance for better health care or lower gas! But it’s a 100% certainty that in God’s eyes you voted FOR or AGAINST His plan for the unborn and FOR or AGAINST His plan for marriage! Maybe God doesn’t care about gas or healthcare, but He sure cares about the unborn! And to vote on the side of killing the unborn is like saying “God I don’t care what you think, my vote matters to me and my potential future!”

So please, if you vote any thing please vote at least to save a POTENTIAL baby! To save another baby who may be another Rosa Parks! To save a baby who may be another John Glenn. To save another baby who may be the next Hank Aaron! To save a baby who may be the next Mother Teresa! To save a baby who may be the next Billy Graham. To save a baby who may be your potential son in law! To save a bay who may be the one who finds a cure for cancer! To save a baby who might be the next Steve Jobs! To save a baby that may be the next doctor that works on you! Please! Vote on the side to save a potential kid to have a chance to be a kid who changes history, breaks records, finds cures, plays sports and gets to say “I love you mom and dad! Thanks for saving me so I could play t-ball!”

All above is my editorial of my own opinion and I may no apologies!
